Tailwaggers Trick Training - Level 1

​

This will be a five week course learning the ins and outs of training your dog while teaching them new skills and building your relationship as a team. You will learn 16 tricks that are part of the Tailwaggers Trick Dog Competition criteria. The fifth and final night will be an assessment evening, which will include assessing what your team has accomplished over the four weeks and the additional option of being assessed for the Novice Do More With Your Dog title.

Tailwaggers Trick Training - Level 2

​

This five week course builds on level one with a further 16 tricks. Some of these tricks will be building on the base tricks from level 1 and some will be new concepts for you and your dog to learn. You will learn 16 tricks that are part of the Tailwaggers Trick Dog Competition criteria. The fifth and final night will be an assessment evening, which will include assessing what your team has accomplished over the four weeks and the additional option of being assessed for the Intermediate Do More With Your Dog title.

Tailwaggers Trick Dog Competition

Mid 2025 Tailwaggers will be running its first Trick dog competition. This competition will be open to anyone who would like to participate.  Judging criteria, scoring, and trick list will be provided ahead of time. At Level 1 the handler will pre-select 8 tricks to preform in front of a judge. These will each be marked out of 10.  Certificates and ribbons will be provided for all qualifiers.

Do more with your dog assessment 

​​

Kimberlea is an official Do More With Your Dog Assessor. Assessment can be done in person in Rotorua or via video. An Assessment day will also be held in Rotorua mid 2025.  Join our spark team Tailwaggers Trick Training Rotorua.
