Noseworx - Level One - Intro afternoon

This will be an introduction afternoon and is suitable for any age dog or handler who is new to noseworks, we teach the basic skills of searching and odour recognition using clove bud oil as an initial odour. If you have a reactive or nervous dog you are welcome to attend without your dog to learn the skills to take home.

Noseworx-Level One-4 weeks

​

The introduction to noseworks class is suitable for any age dog or handler who is new to noseworks, we teach the basic skills of searching and odour recognition using clove bud oil as an initial odour. We get teams ready for both fun at home and/or a future in noseworks competitions. This is an indoor class.

Noseworx-Level Two-4 weeks

​

 

Suitable for those who have completed a level 1 class. This is for teams wanting to prepare for noseworks competition or more serious home activities, the second odour of cedarwood is introduced so teams can enter both SSANZ and DNZ competitions at the novice level. The 4 searches are expanded and the handler skill level is geared towards competition level. This is an indoor class.

Noseworx - Novice Competition

( SSANZ Novice, DogsNZ Novice, DDT Level 1 & 2)

 

Suitable for teams who are competing in SSANZ and Dognz trials Novice trials. Learning more about building drive, handling skills and explore the search types indepth

Noseworx - Intermediate competition 

(SSANZ Intermediate, DogsNZ Advance, DDT Level 3)

Suitable for teams who are competing in SSANZ and Dognz trials Intermediate trials. Learning more about problem solving, hide types and odour.

These will be held from time to time, they will include specialty topic courses and afternoon introduction sessions.
